Where it began
NovaDerm Group grew out of practice. For ten years we stood in the treatment room every day, with someone’s skin under our hands and a question that was rarely as simple as the skin made it seem. Behind acne, pigmentation, rosacea or skin ageing there is never the same story. Every skin has its own interplay of processes, influences and reactions, and therefore asks for its own approach.
What we discovered
With every treatment our conviction grew that real skin improvement does not begin with choosing a product or a treatment, but with understanding the skin. Not at the surface, but at cell level. What happens in the skin before anything becomes visible? Which processes play a part, and what does the skin need before a treatment actually adds value?
The most effective treatment is not by definition the most intensive one, but the treatment that is used at the right moment, on the right skin and with the right reasoning behind it. Science shows what is happening. Understanding comes when we look further than the symptom. It is when those two come together that lasting skin improvement takes shape.

How we work
A protocol tells you what to do. It does not tell you why, and certainly not when you should deviate from it. That is why we do not work from a protocol, but read what the skin needs at that moment.
And that is exactly what we want to teach skin professionals. Not which step-by-step plan to follow, but how to read the skin and reason clinically about what it needs. Why does this skin react the way it does? Which process lies underneath? What has to happen first before an active ingredient or a treatment adds value? Anyone who asks themselves those questions makes better choices than any protocol.
From that conviction we went looking for brands that match it. Products that are scientifically substantiated, carefully developed and that work at the level where skin improvement takes shape. Not because a protocol prescribes it, but because the skin asks for it.
Where it led
Somewhere along the way we realised that our vision did not have to stop at the walls of our own practice. Every day we saw how much difference the right knowledge, the right treatment and the right guidance make. By guiding not only clients, but also the skin professionals who treat them every day, we could help many more people. That is how NovaDerm Group came about.
Today we strengthen skin professionals in the Netherlands and Belgium with carefully selected brands, knowledge and personal guidance. Close by, with short lines and a team that knows for itself what it is like to stand in the treatment room. Because we believe that the skin professional of tomorrow looks further than the surface. Further than the protocol, further than the symptom. And we are there at every step.
